Why Bamboo?
Bamboo is Versatile. It is used by over half the world's population for applications such as: food, shelter, fuel, clothing and of course, handicrafts.
Bamboo is Sustainable. It plays a vital role in the reduction of time consumption, environmental and forest protection as well as being a sustainable development of rural economies.
Bamboo is Renewable. It is one of the earth's fastest growing plants (some species growing up to 3 feet per day). It needs no replanting and has an incredible growth cycle of three to five years. Finally, bamboo is not a wood, rather a species of grass.
